OVERALL PURPOSE:Work on gathering information, developing website and literature, promoting products through mailings, and supporting sales and lab team. Provide knowledge for the president that he doesn’t have by researching customers, competitors, different industries, and our own products.
PRIMARY AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY (Essential Functions):
Manage all marketing & web development
- Provide monthly mailers and product of the month (Glass, Plastic, metal) to customers. Sales force or marketing person will contact customer to gain knowledge of what a product are used for and get print samples. (Week 1)
- Update, change and evolve website (Week 2)
- Review all industries and other ink manufactures that would relate to our customers using ink. (Week 3)
- Market our inks through magazines (news releases and any advertizments) website, internet marketing firms (Week 3)
- Manage online marketing websites (Google, Yahoo, etc) which is reviewing words, links, and people that have come to the Deco-Chem website (passing any information to sales) (Week 3)
- Working with Videos for sales promotions and training (Week 4)
- Review all our products for promotional pieces (Week 5)
- Manage technical data sheets, literature, MSDS for sales and website (Week 5)

POSITION REQUIREMENTS:
A. EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
- High School diploma or GED in general studies; vocational classes a plus.
- Prefer a minimum of six months experience in order entry required.
- Experience in ink industry or other process operation preferred.
- Continual sales training is necessary to provide a presentable performance.
- Continual customer service training is necessary to provide a presentable performance.
B. COMPETENCIES (Skills & Knowledge)
- Verbal and written communication skills sufficient to communicate product information with customers and sales representatives.
- Basic skills to perform word processing and email tasks.
- Enters customer orders and runs reports into automated order entry system.
- Prefer to knowledge in (Dreamweaver, Excel, Word, publisher, Adobe Pagemaker, and other relevant programs.
C. EQUIPMENT USED
- Personal computer, calculator, copier, fax and telephone.
D. PHYSICAL/SENSORY/COGNITIVE REQUIREMENTS TO PERFORM ESSENTIAL
JOB FUNCTIONS
- Ability to sit for eight (8) hours per day in front of a computer.
- Ability to operate computer key board and view computer screen for up to four (8) hour per day.
- Analytical ability to identify problem, determine causes, apply technical product knowledge and recommend remedial action.
- Cognitive and reasoning ability to do mathematical computations (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, percentages for pricing and discount calculations.
- Ability to prioritize, plan, follow though on projects

- Office areas are air-conditioned and heated.
